Hartland's former high school will not become a recreation complex.
An idea brought forward under the previous council will no longer be considered as the new council has decided not to pursue the purchase of the vacant building.
Mayor Craig Melanson tells us coucil feels the site has too many unknowns.
He says eventually the building will have to come down but in the meantime council is willing to listen to any proposals for the facility.
The previous council had taken the building under consideration as a possible site for a recreation complex.
