Fire officials are investigating a suspicious blaze near Hartland.
Shortly before midnight Thursday, July 12, the Hartland Fire Department were called to a structure fire in Ashland.
Fire Chief Mike Walton says by the time crews arrived the two-bedroom bungalow was fully engulfed and the roof had already caved in.
Close to 20 firefighters spent four hours fighting the fire at 240 McBurney Road.
Walton says the home was vacated earlier this month and there was no power connected.
He says the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshall's office and the RCMP.
