An election and plea-hearing has been set over for a Nackawic man accused of fraud.
William Watson Priest-Phillips did not appear in a Fredericton courtroom Thursday, July 12, as expected.
Instead his lawyer asked for an adjournment.
A judge agreed to move the hearing to August 24th.
Priest-Phillips and his mortgage brokerage company Priest-Phillips Management Corporation are each charged with fraud over five-thousand dollars and uttering forged documents.
The charges were laid at the end of a five-month joint investigation between the RCMP, the Fredericton Police and the provincial Securities Commission.
