The results of the annual provincial moose draw have now been released.

The Provincial Government says 4,624 licences will be awarded this year and successful applicants will receive a letter indicating so.

Over 63,600 applications were submitted.

The province says moose licences available for New Brunswickers has increased by almost 1,100 over the past two years.

The 2012 moose hunting season runs from Thursday, September 27 to Saturday, September 29.
