World famous bridge featured on search engine home page

Hartland's iconic bridge is being honoured by one of the world's leading internet search engines.
The town's longest covered bridge in the world is featured as today's Google Doodle at google.ca.
Town Mayor Craig Melanson tells CJ104 News a member of the media contacted him at 6:00 this morning and he had no idea Google would be featuring the bridge.
Mayor Melanson says he thinks tourists will stop to see the bridge because of the Google Doodle, which could ultimately help the local economy.
It was 111 years ago today that the bridge opened in Hartland.
The 1,282 foot long structure officially opened July 4, 1901, and has spanned the St. John River ever since, however it wasn't covered until the early 1920's.
In 1980, it was declared a National Historic Site of Canada.
