Work is underway to add some new building space on Connell Street near the highway.

Crews demolished the old Patterson Toyota building earlier this week to make way for new space.

Dana Patterson tells CJ104 News, it was not an easy decision to make to tear down the building.

He says right now, they are playing a waiting game when it comes to starting the new building.

Patterson adds he is excited to see some new development to Woodstock and to the location.
