A bus driver from the Bath area has received the District 14 Bus Driver of the Year award.

Fred Guest was presented with the second annual award at the District Education Council meeting last Wednesday night.

Guest, a driver from the Bath area, has been a school bus driver for the past 26 years.

He was nominated for the award because of his attitude about driving a bus.

Drivers can be nominated by students, parents, school staff and community members and judges determine the winner based on a number of criteria.
