Four months after recording his first victory in mixed martial arts a teenager from Woodstock is set for another fight.
16-year-old Jake Cunningham will face 18-year Aaron Munroe of Moncton in a Junior Amateur Light-Heavyweight Division bout Saturday night, June 9, in the Hub City.
Cunningham who has been trainng in the sport for almost a year tells CJ104 News he loves the respect factor involved.
The young figher says despite winning his first bout with a first round technical knockout he hopes to put on a better show this time around.
Cunningham trains under Dustin Leighton at Woodstock First Nation.
Another Woodstock-area native is on Saturday's card at "Cage Rage 8: Quest for the Belt" being held at the Lions club in Moncton.
Colin McCormack will compete in the Featherweight Division.
