There are even more changes coming to Woodstock's Shiretown Field.

The location will be getting new speakers from Currie's Audio, wireless internet from Xplornet and Media Smart and bleacher upgrades from the town.

The canteen will be open during home games with help from local businesses and the Midget AA team has received new uniforms from Kirk Satellite.

Jake Smith, president of the Western Valley Minor Baseball Association, tells CJ104 News, he's excited about the changes.

He says because of this, the field and teams are becoming more popular.

Smith hopes to register around 150 children this season.
