One of the programs at NBCC Woodstock is being cancelled after more than 25 years.

The decision was made Tuesday, May 23, to eliminate the journalism program - one of three programs being cut across the province.

Bill Best, vice-president of Academics and Student Development for NBCC, says they are doing their best to accommodate the students.

Best says the seats from the cancelled programs will stay at their respective campus and be replaced with another program.

The organization is currently planning those replacement programs.
