Woodstock Mayor Art Slipp says the priorities in the town remain the same despite some changes to the council.
Slipp who will begin his second term today after he ran unopposed in yesterday's election says he's looking forward to working with new councillors Amy Anderson, Jeff Bradbury and Bill Hogan.
The Mayor tells CJ104 News he was surprised to see to long-time councilors Peter Kennedy and Jim Cluff defeated, but it's the nature of politics.
Slipp says the first thing on the agenda will be getting the new councilors ready for their new roles.
Slipp says the priorities remain the Civic Centre and Library projects.
Incumbent Councillors Catherine Sutherland, Randy Leonard and Theresa Blackburn were all re-elected.
