Shogomoc Bridge Update
Work on the Shogomoc Bridge near Nackawic is picking up again after a delay.
The 220-foot suspension bridge will complete the Trans-Canada Trail from the Quebec border to Grand-Bay Westfield.
Work on the bridge, which is located where the Shogomoc River meets the Mactaquac head pond, started last December.
Executive Director of the New Brunswick Trails Council Paul Jorgensen says there have been recent snags with equipment, but work is starting again this week.
Jorgensen says the goal is to complete the bridge by the end of June.
