Don’t call her normal or average! A self proclaimed "Dork," Kristen was a little drama queen from the get go! She began acting at the age of 5, loving the spot light and the camera. Growing up in a family of Social workers and mental health professionals, she tried to do things their way; went to Dalhousie University in Halifax and studied Child Psychology. Well that didn’t work out too well and for two years afterwards she sold men’s clothing and tended bar (or should that be attended bars??)! Her family was just a little concerned when she announced she would be a radio DJ! Moving 7 times in 6 years for her new found career, in 2004 she landed in Woodstock in the afternoon Drive chair on 104FM.

The domestically disabled, footloose and fancy free career city girl fell for Bobby Stephens a Carleton County Boy; and got married in Sept 2006, and couldn’t be happier! 

Every morning from 6- 10 am you never know what you’ll get, whether it’s a parody song, an opinionated rant, a laugh or simply company during your morning, one thing is certain Kristen is a girl out of the ordinary. Thank goodness that whole Psychology thing didn’t work out!!
