I like a lot of what in olden days might have been referred to as "heavy metal" music. But I have never been able to comprehend how anyone derives enjoyment from listening to death metal or whatever you want to call it...with "vocalists" who essentially growl their way through songs. Seriously, a lot of these bands come up with killer guitar riffs, and insane drum parts. But they always lose me when Cookie Monster takes the mic...unless of course, it actually IS our favourite blue monster!!
