Here is this week's winning nominating letter.

Hi Terry,

I would like to nominate Shirley Gates for the roses from Thomas The Florist.

Shirley is the most wonderful woman I know. She is so giving and thoughtful.

Shirley cuts out every picture out of the paper of kids she knows and sends the picture with a card to that child. She goes to sports events of any children she knows (even though her children are grown and gone). She makes every child feel so special. She is so encouraging. 

Shirley helps out wherever she can in her church, they can always count on her.

She decorates her house for every occasion ( I love this ). Whether its music festival, St Patrick`s day, Christmas, Easter, fiddlehead season any occasion you can count on her window being decorated for it. I love driving by her house and seeing all the decorations.

I have never met a more inspiring, thoughtful person. She is always happy and smiling. I could go on and on about the things Shirley does for her community, she truly deserves a dozen roses and more.....

I wish there were more people like Shirley around....our world would be a very happy place
