So today is my last day on the CJ104 Morning show for just over a year.  It comes with mixed emotions for me.

I LOVE what I do every morning and as cheezy as it sounds I consider it an honour that you trust me enough to invite me into your home, work and cars every morning as you are running around trying to keep everything going in your own crazy life.

I share pretty openly my life on the air.  The good, the bad and the ugly.  You hear about my husband and my son. My cooking disasters, my soap box rants, My stories of my parents and sisters.  You were there when I reviled that I had been diagnosed with cancer this year and shared my surprise of finding out that I was expecting a new baby.

Many people ask me if I plan to take the full year for maternity leave and some are surprised when I say yes. I truly feel that its a blessing to live in a country that encourages families to spend that first year together and bond and I don't want to miss out on that once and a life time experience.

Thank you for your kindness over the last 7 years and in particular your enthusiasm over the last 2.5 years I've been lucky enough to host the morning show.

I will be returning on Jan 2, 2013 and in the meantime Terry Mann will entertain you to no end!
